Kanzelhöhe Flare Patrol is derived from full disk observations in Hα by human visual inspection, until 2000 observations were recorded on film, since March 2000 time series are available from a CCD imaging system.
The dataset is going back to 1948.
Between 1967 and 1976 no data was sent to the data archives due to building activities at the observatory and instrument upgrades.
This data is also sent to NOAA National centers for Environmental Information and is stored in the solar data section .
